Your Local REALTOR Kip is back and this time he's sharing all of the tips to maintain your heat pump! Whether you want cool air in the summer or the heat in the winter maintaining your heat pump is the key to the best temperature all year round!
Kip shares four quick tips for making sure your heat pump lasts!

1. Pick a temperature and stay at it: Whether it's summer or winter you should be keeping your heat pump at a consistent temperature! Also, avoid Auto mode, and switch between heating and cooling with the Nova Scotia seasons

2. Clean your filters: You should be cleaning your heat pump filters every 1-2 months, this is the most easily overlooked step but one of the most important.

3. Bring in the Pros: On top of cleaning your filters every 1-2 years you should bring in the professionals for a deep clean!

4. Keep the drain clean: In the summer months, the humidity can cause condensation to build up in your drain pipe make sure you keep it clean!
