Info for Sellers

We are making great use of new technologies to maximize the advertising of our listings while minimizing the number of in-person showings in your home. We can meet by phone or video conference to discuss your listing details, and all our paperwork is signed electronically. We have a fantastic Photography Department in our office who employ strict health and safety protocols while photographing your home. We also capture a virtual tour of your property that allows buyers to 'tour' your home- you can check out a sample here. I will work with buyers and other Realtors to ensure we only offer in-person showings to qualified, interested buyers.

How Do we Handle Showings During Social Isolation?

We follow a strict protocol to keep all parties safe:

1. Buyers and their Realtor will need to sign our  Health Declaration form to attest that they have not traveled outside NS in the past 14 days, have no symptoms of illness, and have not come in contact with anyone with symptoms.

2. You will be asked to vacate your home during the showing, to minimize person-to-person contact. Before you leave, you'll be asked to turn on all lights and open all interior doors, cabinets, etc. so buyers won't have to touch any surfaces.

3.The buyer's agent will be asked to minimize the number of parties present for each showing, and they will ask all parties to sanitize their hands and wear gloves for the showing. Buyers and buyer's agent will be asked to avoid touching surfaces and using the washroom.

4. Upon leaving, the buyer's agent will sanitize any surfaces they touched (such as the lockbox and front door handle). You are encouraged to clean all high-touch surfaces again once you return home.

Info for Buyers

Today's market makes it easier than ever to shop for your next home- most of it can be done right from the comfort of your couch! If you're looking for a Realtor who knows the HRM and surrounding area, I'd be happy to help.

We can chat by phone or email to figure out what your Must Haves and Wishlist items are for your next home, and I can set you up with an automated search for your desired criteria. I also work with a larger team within our Royal LePage brokerage, so I often know of listings that haven't come on the system yet.

Once we find a few properties that suit your needs, we can set up virtual tours, video tours, and access all the property's associated documents to give you a sense of the home before you ever set foot in the door. I will also help coordinate in-person showings that will follow our showing protocols to keep everyone safe.

We also work with a great team of lawyers, mortgage professionals, home inspectors- everyone you'll need to get your purchase finalized.
